As of 2017 this has had new owners. It is now owned by La Plexy and Xema Lakrin. It has a whole new concept and the club is totally refurbished upstairs and downstairs. Gone are the rent boys of the past and now you will find the biggest club in Chueca - Madrids gay area. Upstairs there is pop, reggaeton, dance, commerical music as well as the famous drag queen shows from the biggest national and international queens. Downstairs opens on a Friday & Saturday and it is all house music. Upstairs has 2 bars and bathrooms and downstairs 1 bar and bathrooms so there is no need to go upstairs to order drinks etc. With guest list (send a whatsapp to 0034622389410) you will have offers on the door. The entrance fee ranges from 10€ - 20€ with a drink / drinks. If you are in Madrid - Black&White is the place to be!

Drag Show is a night life must in Madrid

It's worth going to see the Drag show, I mean how many spots in the world have storied history like Black & White--and it's a fun thing to do as a night activity. Show starts at 2:30-AM. However, with that said, there were so many rent boys there I was half-expecting a run-way show--and they are aggressive. So many young boys, not sure any of them were actually gay, it was just said--kind of felt like visiting the humane society. You wanted to take a lot of them home, feed and clothe them. That aside, the drag show is funny--a lot of Spanish, but a lot of physical comedy that if you don't speak spanish you can still enjoy. Drinks are moderately priced .€8 for a gin and tonic or orange juice and vodka. The prices go up as you select higher grade spirits.

SoSo

This bar is not open every night. It is only open thursday thru Sunday. Quite a lot of rent. Did not see a strip szhow. Bartender said they did not have one. Not that many people spoke English in here. Need to know a little Spanish. Rent boys doing their business in the restrooms. Had some cute guys in here but did not do anything with them.

Upstairs Blah and smoky, downstairs blah and dead

Small crowd upstairs and even smaller downstairs. We ordered upstairs 2 drinks, could not make the bartender understand Patron and Cranberry so we settled on Orange Juice and Absolute Vodka. Turns out they pour the vodka in a glass filled with ice and handed us each a glass bottle of OJ, one would have sufficed.. Cost us 19 euros, yikes. Something tells me we had sucker written on our foreheads. Didn't stick around here long and decided early on that beer was about all we would be ordering from then on in Europe.
