El Palacio Real

(7 Ratings)
Magnificent ceremonial palace built in 1755
King Charles III was the first Spanish king to take residence here nearly 300 years ago. Today it is one of Spain's biggest tourist attractions with its elegant grounds and impressive armory museum. Generally open to the public except when in ceremonial use.

Magnificent Palace

Buy the Madrid Card, it includes this wonderful palace entry for free. You also avoid the long lines on weekends and can enter from side avoiding lines, What a spectacular example of how those in power lived extravagantly along the masses of poor. This palace is beautiful, elegant worthy of a visit.
